CRISTIANO RONALDO’S WORLD!
Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo won the prestigious Ballon d’Or Trophy on Monday night, becoming the fourth United player to do so.
Ronaldo scored a European league high 42 goals as Manchester United won the Champions League and Premier League trophies last season.
Ronaldo said “It is one of the most beautiful days of my life, something I dreamed of as a child.” Ronaldo recieved 77 of the 96 votes in a landslide victory that was considered a formality before the first vote was cast.
The last of his 42 goals came in the Champions League Final against Chelsea as he gave United a first half lead in a match they would eventually win in a penalty shootout.

I love it when Ronaldo scores from a free kick and without doubt he was Europe’s best last year. Now will he get the FIFA accolade in January and be World Player of The Year? Will United become World Club Champions later this month?

Ronaldo is a fantastic player, there is no doubting that. The problem is he grew up with the european style of fanny football. I say bring back Chopper Harris, Razor Ruddock and Vinnie Jones. They will show him what its like to get tackled. HARD!!! He would probably make more plays and create more goalsif he just stayed on his twinkles.
